• Wedding makeup specialist
Emma has been a specialist in wedding makeup for over 9 years, with this wealth of experience comes a clear understanding of how the wedding makeup should work. The start of the process is a trial normally advised 6 – 8 weeks before your big day. This is a chance to meet Emma and discuss any requirements needed. Emma will start by going through all of your inspiration from the dress to table decorations fitting everything around your desired theme.

This attention to detail is why makeup designs stand head and shoulders above the rest. After the detailed trial and when you as the bride are happy, the next stage is to arrange the package which suits you best. These include hair, nails and teeth whitening. Makeup design can also offer bespoke packages and arrange any other treatments needed. Makeup on the wedding day can sometimes be an early morning start. Emma only uses the best brands of makeup such as MAC, laura mercier, bobbie brown, Dior, YSL all tried and tested to last the day.

If needed a touch up kit is available at £12 offering lip gloss/lipstick a mirror and some blotting paper. Emma works alongside her team creating a relaxed and friendly atmosphere ensuring everything is being done on time. Makeup designs can help with timings on your wedding morning as this can be a military operation! The end results are always a happy wedding party. • Special occasion makeup
Special occasion makeup can vary, anything from a black tie event to a Halloween party. Makeup design can offer an artist to do special effects, TV and film, editorial or just a treat before a big night out.

• Master classes (6- 10 people)
Master classes are a great way to learn the art of makeup with a group of your friends, family or even work colleges. Makeup Design comes to your home or offices and delivers outstanding teaching. This covers basic techniques to more intricate work. Master classes start from a 2 hour session or could run for a whole day. Makeup Design can offer bespoke master classes to suit everybody’s needs. This works especially well for a hen party or Christmas party. Master classes get booked very quickly so do get in touch to avoid disappointment.

• Group lessons (min 3 max 6)
Group lessons are perfect if you’re getting married abroad. Teach your bridesmaids/friends/family how to recreate the perfect look for your wedding taking all the stress away from you! Makeup Design will come to you and patiently deliver teaching enabling you to confidently recreate some beautiful looks using your newly learnt techniques.

• Proms
School proms are becoming ever popular and Makeup Design has many requests from individuals to school groups. Makeup is sure to meet the expectations of the younger client whilst still keeping the parents happy! Emma is fully CRB checked and has experience working with young people.

• Individual lessons
A one on one lesson is a great way to learn some new tips. Bring along your makeup bag and we can help you refresh your look. In the comfort of your own home learn how to create those smokey eyes to flawless skin, anything you have ever wanted to know we can help you out.

• Eyelash Extensions
For glamorous, thick, beautiful eyelashes 24 hours a day Emma is a fully trained eyelash technician and applies eyelash extensions to the highest standard in the comfort of your own home. She is based in East Sussex but also covers surrounding areas.

Semi-Permanent Eyelashes
The eyelashes are individual synthetic silk and mink lashes, bonded onto your own lashes to create volume, length and a thicker look. They last longer than false lashes but do require care and maintenance. If you’re a bride worried about crying on your big day these are perfect. If you want permanent perfect lashes with little fuss this is the way forward!! After a consultation we can create just the right look for your individual needs. The application takes between one and one and a half hours.

Your own individual lashes grow out on a continuous cycle of replenishment. The average cycle is about 90 days while the lash extensions do last 6 weeks it's advised to get them topped up every three to four weeks just to maintain the full look. Emma uses a range of different brands including HOLLYWOOD LASHES, SECRET LASHES, NOUVEAU LASHES, BLINK and JINNY LASHES. Covering such a range of products insures there is something for everyone. The glue used is FLIRTIES Adhesive expert speed and strength which Emma finds is the best in the business. Medically graded to insure safe odour and fume free use. The lash primer and sealant are also both by FLIRTIES

Aftercare
For the first 2 hours after application do not allow water to come into contact with the lashes. For the first 2 days do not steam the face or swim. Having lash extensions means you do not have to wear mascara. If however you still want to use mascara do not use waterproof. Do not perm lash extensions. After washing your face pat the lashes dry never rub the eye area. The lashes are a beautiful and fuss free way of looking glamorous. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask. Also offered are false lashes. Using adhesive glue these striped lashes are glued onto the base of the eye and only last a day.
